The Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all reasonable measures to prevent the publication of articles involving research misconduct. The Journal does not encourage, support, or knowingly permit any form of misconduct.
The JJNH hold no responsibility for plagiarism. If a published paper is found later to be extensively plagiarized and is found to be a duplicate or redundant publication, a note of retraction will be published, and copies of the correspondence will be sent to the authors’ head of institute.
When allegations or suspicions of research misconduct arise, whether before or after publication, the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board will investigate the matter in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The investigation process may include:
Preliminary assessment of the allegation by the editorial office;
Communication with the corresponding author and, where appropriate, all co-authors;
Requesting original data, supporting documentation, or explanations from the authors;
Consultation with reviewers, editorial board members, or relevant experts when necessary;
Referral of serious cases to the authors' affiliated institutions or funding bodies.
Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the Journal may take appropriate actions, including manuscript rejection, publication of corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or notification of relevant institutions.
The Journal follows COPE Core Practices and COPE flowcharts in handling all allegations of research misconduct to ensure a fair, transparent, and ethical resolution process.
