الممول من مؤسسة مافا (2019-2021) يهدف مشروع الإدارة المتكاملة لحوض نهر الموجب إلى تقديم نموذج إداري مستدام لحوض الموجب يمكن اتباعه في الإدارة التشاركية المتكاملة للأحواض المائية المجاورة في داخل المملكة والمنطقة عموما. ساهم المشروع على مدى عامين في إنشاء منصة تواصل وحوار بين الجهات المعنية بحوض نهر الموجب، وذلك تمهيدا لتحويلها إلى لجنة وطنية رسمية مشكلة من أطراف ممثلة للجهات المذكورة ومعنية بتطبيق الإدارة المتكاملة لحوض نهر الموجب. يتضمن المشروع ثلاث استراتيجيات رئيسة تعنى بتحقيق الأهداف المرجوة، حيث تركز الأولى على جمع وتحديث وتحليل جميع المعلومات المتوفرة عن حوض الموجب المائي بهدف تقديم فهم أفضل لحالة الحوض وتعريف احتاجته. بينما تركز الاستراتيجية الثانية بشكل أساسي على دمج الجهات المتعددة المتأثرة والمؤثرة في إدارة مصادر الحوض، وبناء تواصل فعال فيما بينها. وتعتمد الاستراتيجية الثالثة على السابقتين وتهدف إلى دمج مفاهيم الاحتياجات البيئية في الخطط التي يتم إعدادها لحوض نهر الموجب وذلك لاستدامة الإدارة المتكاملة للحوض المائي ودوام استدامة التنوع الحيوي في أهم مناطق الحوض وهي محمية الموجب للمحيط الحيوي أسفل النهر. سيساهم المشروع بشكل رئيسي في زيادة تقدم المملكة في تطبيق الإدارة المتكاملة للموارد المائية ضمن نهج تشاركي مستدام يتوافق مع الأجندات الوطنية في المملكة. كما سيساند الجهات المعنية في اتخاذ قرارات أفضل لتحقيق أهدافها على المدى الطويل والتي تخص توفير المياه والتكيف مع التغير المناخي.
Funded by ENI CBC Med (2014 - 2022) Tourism in the Mediterranean is a key driver for socio-economic progress and a major income source for many of its countries. Some of the sectorial challenges lie within the predominance of mass seaside tourism and the seasonality of the industry. MEDUSA project tackles these challenges via targeted cross-border interventions in to develop and promote Adventure Tourism (AT), as a sustainable niche in the tourism market that provides the opportunity to reveal lesser-known destinations and attract tourists throughout the whole year. MEDUSA project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Neighborhood Instrument cross-border cooperation program “Mediterranean Sea Basin” 2014-2020 (ENI CBC MED). Specific objectives: The overall objective of the project is to develop a competitive form of adventure tourism in the Mediterranean, that is based on environmental, social and economic sustainability values. Concretely MEDUSA aims to: Identify and valorize territorial assets for developing AT products, especially off-season, based on a thorough understanding of market demand drivers, supply and competitiveness variables. Promote a multi-stakeholder engagement to capacity building and exchange of experiences and adopt strategic alliances that will formalize roles and responsibilities for AT destination stewardships. Implement pilot actions rolling out improved and new AT products, as well as develop and promote tourism packages through a cross-border marketing alliances to international source markets. The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature , MEDUSA's partner in Jordan is launching a call for tenders for the provision of training of trainers on sustainability in adventure tourism for local guides under Development and Promotion of Mediterranean Sustainable Adventure Tourism Project (MEDUSA).
