The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, working in alliance with Jordan Hashemite Fund for Human Development and IUCN – World Conservation Union, has taken an active part in establishing Fair Trade Jordan (link to www.fairtradejordan.org), a non-profit organization that is dedicated to developing the concept of fair trade in Jordan, by promoting a trading systems that ensure trading benefits are distributed equitably and inclusively and is environmentally sustainable.

Fair trade, a growing global movement that supports sustainable development, aims to ensure that small producers earn a fair return on their products, along with an appropriate income to improve their living standards.
