After being subject to a six-year capacity building program funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), RSCNs staff is now considered to be among the most experienced in the country in the field of environmental management.
RSCNs approach to internal training is vocational, not academic. Utilizing the latest training techniques, it emphasizes interaction between participants and builds on their innate creativity. It provides hands-on, interactive sessions reflecting real life situations and its training programs usually incorporate field visits and practical exercises.
RSCN is concerned with maintaining its keen edge through the continuous development of it institutional and individual capacity, while developing its working environment to motivate the growth of skills and capacities of individuals and groups, helping its staff in training to increase the effectiveness of institutions working in the environmental sector in Jordan and neighboring Arab countries.
